1. So a few saturday’s ago I headed to the movie with a friend & then walked out only to realize I had 11 missed calls, 6 voicemails, & some text messages. I thought woah…hopefully no one is hurt…but it turned out to be a job offer. I hurried home, packed, & was off to Ventura. That is where my last post comes from…the rock wall! It was my workplace (temporarily) for 8 days. But while I was in Ventura I was able to babysit my niece for 2 WHOLE days. It was quite a treat, even though the reason I had her was because her sister was in the hospital. We had nice auntie/niece time & she even got a new stroller out of it all. She has to be the CUTEST baby I have ever seen & the best behaved. In the two days I had her, she cried once only because I yelled after she pulled my hair (because I was in pain & not out of anger).  Well I’m going to attach some pictures of our adventures (mostly her) & I hope to get back to Ventura soon to spend more time with her!

  2. Do you remember, we were sittin’ there, by the water? You put your arm around me for the first time, You made a rebel of a careless man’s careful daughter, You are the best thing that’s ever been mine…
    — taylor swift. “mine”.

  3. rock climbing expert?

well as we all know finding a job these days has proven itself to be pretty difficult…so when someone offers me a job (or I desperately ask around) I jump on it! So I am now running a rock wall at the Ventura County Fair, and my training from working at a summer camp has finally paid off. I love working with the little kids & surprisingly enough I am getting a work-out at the same time. I am continuously doing squats (or bending down to put harnesses on the children) and pulling down on the “rope” to hook the kids up is working out my arms. It’s really fun minus the getting sunburned part and its something completely out of my element. I think I might put myself in those situations more often…its fun and you can definitely meet some new people.

  4. trader joe’s original. I wouldn’t call myself a flower expert, but after looking around at a few stores, I found trader joe’s to be the best fit for me. The flowers are always fresh & inexpensive. And of course they have a great assortment of daisies. My new goal is to get a different color every time I go, so red and pink are out until I try everything else.

  5. jumping right in…

So..here I am..jumping right onto the “band wagon” so to speak..

I never thought I would have a blog but I have seen some impressive ones lately. Whether the posts are on clothes, recipes, home improvement, or just random thoughts, it is truly inspiring to see others thoughts & opinions. I never wanted to be one of those people that came on here and complained about how hard life is or bragged about how good life was, but then I stepped back and thought a blog can be whatever you want it to be. This can be a place to truly express yourself without anyone judging. So who knows what I will post on here but I hope its an outlet of some sort for me to figure out a little more about myself…
